Same conclusion here, back to copper,Well my findings with PP is it's a nice colour and that's where it ends, maybe I've a different strain of dermatitis

We grow Lucerne for the 3crop thing had 4cuts off it each year so far, heifers love it cows not so much probably say if you put more than 5% in feeder they sort it out,if I had my way I would rip it up never ties in with silage cuts end up baling it,always get it dry ted it on tick over straight after iv mowed it then it doesn't knock the leaves offGoing back to Laminitis, the dairy industries enemy is Sara the real cause of Laminitis. The cure is feeding enough quality alfalfa hay, not feeding uncured silage and being extremely vigilant keeping ration components free of toxins. I'am from the US and don't know how available alfalfa hay is in the UK. Twenty lb for Holsteins and Fifteen lb for Jerseys has produced optimum results.
Iv seen no noticeable difference with the pp than the hooffit stuff we used to use, only difference is its a lot cheaper.even tried concentrating it even more through the feet sprayer in the parlour still no noticeable difference
Hopefully stock will rebuild and it will become available quicker as you non believers retreat.
Seen on Twitter, adhb recommending fairy liquid when not using a chemical, to keep feet clean, any one have an opinion?
Imagine the purple bubbles if you combined the both.
Yeah I don't see the major big deal with the "don't put too much in" we spray it on and Inbetween the feet in the parlour (hate footbaths) too much form in a footbath is far worse etc I'll keep on it now they've gone out soon see if it works well nowSo you'll keep using it then? Got some today to try it, so from what I can gather it's a table spoonful to 350l?
Be sh!t of the feet won't it ? My mates a trimmer said he went to a farm somewhere they put to much form in the bath the flesh off the back of feet was peeling off, think this pp pretty harmlessTryed it for the first time last night came back from getting the cows in and the water turned from purple to brown colour is this normal? Did I not ad enough pp? Put in just over a teaspoon full for 150 litre bath.

No this was before any cows went through maybe I didn't use enough.
If its gone brown hasnt it oxidised and what you are seeing is manganese ?
Was there any other chemical in the bath ?
No other chemical. We normally wash the bath out with parlour washing after though would that make a difference?
Don't know to be honest. It's quite a reactive chemical though so it may be very sensitive to other chemicals.
I would say it's possible
