Had my twin rotor fella apart this summer to fit new crown wheel and pinion, you have to pill out the input/pinion shaft as the crown wheel is above it,a bearing went on input shaft on mine ,whats wrong with yoursHas anyone dismantled one of these?

I think my roll pin has sheared.iirc there's a roll pin through the pinion gear that shears. We had a single rotor fella years ago, had to replace needle bearing on the pinion shaft, was an arse of a job. Not the toughest in the world, but better built than a tarrup.
Replaced my fella eventually with a Pottinger - different league.
I cant be sure there is a roll pinObviously different to the twin rotor as there isn't any roll pin
Left it attached to a tractor, and took the wheel assembly off, then stripped it from the bottom up, iirc. It wasn't bad to do, but I do remember there been a lot of parts on the workshop floor, and dad coming in one day with a "whaaat the **** are you doing"?I think my roll pin has sheared.
How did you sort it?
Pics?Resurrect old thread.
Just trying to do one now.
Any breaker bits about as arm sheared off and possibly need shim up if possibly?
Fella still in business but sold as Massey Ferguson here ( still fella in Germany ). Parts should all be availableLooks like centre casting gone.
Can bits be sourced or is that it?
Would any newer machines be compatible possibly??
Could be completely different but looks similar to a krone where you take the bolt out either side of the broken arm and can then pull out the unit with the broken arm?
