We made something based on an old poly winder . It used an old fence post as a sacrificial core basically wedged on to a hydraulic motor . Needs a restrictor in line . I doubt I’ve photos but could draw it from memoryDespose of

ProbablyA rotating bale spike any good
Its surprising how much you can pull down the old fasioned way when you set your mind to it. Trouble is it's still too slow. All the winders I've seen require the staples taken out, which is probably the most time consuming part of the job, apart from this one.a pair of leather gloves and roll it into 4ft rolls, be just as quick and cheaper.
But if you don't take the staples out you can't save them in an old rusty bucket for the futureIts surprising how much you can pull down the old fasioned way when you set your mind to it. Simplest way i've done it is with the muck grab, best way I've seen it done is a selector grab on a digger.
That's posh, it's even got a lid to keep rain water out to prevent further rusting .View attachment 1145953
