Fendt 822 to be chipped to 828 spec at 8500hrs, Good or bad idea?

I currently operate a 2018 plate Fendt 822 and have been for around 2000hrs now for a fert spreading company here in Victoria Australia. Tractor has got 8500hrs, been dealer serviced its whole life and still runs all the emission gear on it. She does a lot of road work (55km) pulling upwards of 20t of weight (12t of fert, 4.5t trailer, 1.3t spreader and a 1.8t weight), seems to handle it ok, never runs hot, just is quite gutless at times on the road. Haven't any major issues other than the odd oil line and the front hubs have been done a bit due to the road work and muddy conditions during winter here. Recently had a series of sensors from the emissions gear fail with the last one costing around $2500 aud to replace, which is frustrating as the tractor really doesn't need all that crap to operate and is where all the money has been spent on it recently.

Considering get it all deleted and serviced by a private mechanic so the dealer doesn't switch it all back on again, any advice on what we should get deleted would be much appreciated, also looking at getting it chipped to 828 spec, at 8500hrs on the original engine could that be problematic?
Thanks.

Below is a photo of the setup, she is purely a fert tractor, never done any PTO work.

We remapped an 824 several years ago to 828 specs. Never hurt it but neither did we run it to the hours yours has. Also we didn't delete it either. Based on experience I would definitely recommend having it fully deleted.

Be warned however those engines weaknesses mainly stemmed from the egr system so the damage is already done imo, as its been breathing its exhaust for 8500 hrs.
While the remap won't necessarily hurt it I have a feeling it will hasten the demise of the piston rings, the failure of which is what gives those series a bad reputation.
On the flip side if you're not lugging the daylights out it for hours on end and only needing extra ponies for short durations it may just be fine for who knows how long🤷‍♂️

Smart rig. I should think it has it's work cut out dragging that lot. 828 next time for you.
yeah she handles the hills and the mud well with the CTI fitted, 220hp is plenty for spreading, just need around the 300hp mark for the road work, pulls her down to around 20-30kmh going uphill when fully loaded. Unfortunately they don't make the 800's anymore, we are looking to replace it in the next 2 years hopefully, the new 728 would be nice but they weigh about the same as an 800 but have a 15t GVM compared to the 800's 16T, we need that 6t+ payload for the road so a 930 is going to be our best option, got a quote for both and there's about a $40,000 price difference, so not heaps.
