Fendt Contour Assist worth it?

Currently drilling headlands on the adaptive curve settingthen adding straight AB. Works ok. Is contour assist/segments worth it to make it easier. Drill has no markers. What else does it allow you to do? Drilling headland with 750a with no markers can sometimes be tricky to get marks correct. Will

So much better for headlands, have it on the current tractor and it wasn’t on the previous tractor.

Takes a little getting used to I find it best to set the headland contours from the field boundary. I think the ab lines are smoother but you do have to keep an eye on them in very tight corners it can at steer quicker than I always want it to. That could always be my bad setup.

Will definitely have it on the next tractor.

Mine came with the tractor, needed section control think it all came together I’m sure it’s dealer and laptop job, no idea of price. I also have auto TI which starts headland control when you hit the boundary mark I use it all the time drilling. I don’t have auto turning on the headland.

All these different options do get confusing

Is this the same thing called way line assist on the red version

In a word yes. It looks to be exactly the same as Fendts contour assist just a slightly different layout on the screen. Unsurprising as its an AGCO product. Once the 300 hp 8S becomes available with a vario and this software its going to be a stiff contender to replace the 930 !!
