Hi,

Anyone know which FMIS-system i should use on a used Fendt? Seems to be a jungle of them, and there probably is one "free" for Fendt as long as you have bought a tractor from Agco right?

Not sure what FMIS means but assume that it’s the auto steer system. Basically if you have a Profi Plus it should be steer ready. The goes in the roof hatch if you don’t have 1. Egnos is free shouldn’t make a difference where the tractor came from. If the tractor is older than about 3 years it will probably have a Topcon receiver newer will be Trimble/ Novatel. Various signals available more accuracy = more money. If you have to buy a receiver go for novatel it’s cheaper than Trimble. Topcon will no longer get updates but if you have it will work ok.

Farm works is the go to for Fendt. Others will read the data I believe but to upload vra maps this is best apparently.

alternatively you could look into the fendt one platform which is going to be backwards compatible with older tractors. It is online based and will automatically sync data va mobile network.

I use farmworks and transfer data via USB.
