Fertiliser Price Tracker

From my knowledge at the minute, fert suppliers definitely have/are offering deals on spot movement with the quiet market. Spring is always busy for fert movement without this backends lack of sales, so at some point the market will pick up and so will pricing. In terms of AN, C.F still are only £5/t more than what they charged for their new season deal so I really can't see them slipping back pricing anymore than what it is today.

Nothing to hide! By all means send me a direct message. I'm surprised more people don't share their contacts here... Who's everyone's cheapest/best supplier/rep by area then?!
Just post on here? By your name are you a distributor/sales?

I haven't encountered a fert purchase survey, but can't think of any reason to respond (truthfully). There are plenty of comments on this thread about a manipulated market, why assist that? Don't them Pike!

Not even for the chance to win a beanie hat?
Maybe it was a mug, I forget now.

These are the quotes I have had on fert. We are down in West Cornwall so haulage is probably a bit more expensive for us.
I've ordered / got in the shed everything I need for the first half of next year and its looking like things are £20 - £30/ton cheaper than last year so I'm happy with that.

Hello everyone

To cut long story short I think there is a plenty of room for new sellers in the UK fert market. I know how much it costs in Europe and well... At the current price of Urea46 260 GBP, on just one container load (26t) with delivery to port (Southampton/Hull but Liverpool shoudn't vary too much) there is 15 to 25 pounds a tonne to knock down. I am not even talking manufacturer or whosale prices. Just 24t+.

I do understand fertilisers are rather imported in wholeships volumes but unfortunately I can not cover that volume upfront, yet. And just for sake of argument I think my realistic calculations for single container are even more important as they show how much cheaper ferts can be.

And I can easily pay for container load.
On the other hand there are other options if there will be real demand.

So will you be interested in imported urea N46?

1. No money upfront obviously but no delayed payment either. Payment upon collection in port.

2. Delivery to port.

3. Urea produced in Poland by GA Azoty. GA Azoty is name of company so you may not be familiar with it, this urea brand name is Pulrea.

Anyway, Azoty are second biggest fertilisers manufacturer in whole EU. You probably used their ferts many time already. Only difference is they were renamed, repriced and sold to you as Skandinavian, German or British made.
By the way Azoty have few urea N46 brands. Best one is Pulrea but others are bit cheaper. Still only Pulrea is Q marked. Old Polish Q certification system was abandonded few years ago and replaced by international ISO system, all Q products were branded as ISO 9000 certified instead. Quite a shame. "Q" requirements were much higher.

Just some thoughts. It doesn't cost anything to ask and best business is when it equally benefits both sides.

If there will be real interest in subject I can look around. 15-20 pounds discount is on 24t+ loads. And my cut is of corse included ;] With higher volume price will be lower.

Last but not least - do you pay same VAT on each type of fertiliser? Standart rate 20%?

This question may sound stupid but I am asking because VAT rate froum EU is 0%

Thank you for reading.
