Countries stockpiling supplies and hoarding what they produce would be a good strategy in times of war. Today I think its more of a commodity war.

Speaking of war, there is the Taiwan issue. This makes interesting reading, and mentions that China aim to invade Taiwan in a 14 hour time frame. As it will take the US and the west 24 hours to get their boots on, Taiwans best defence is to blow up their own semiconductor (silicon chip) manufacturing capacity, the largest in the world.

Their biggest customer is mainland China, so by "destroying the nest" they also destroy Chinas technology industry too. Ergo, no one wins the chess game, both sides lose in the worst possible fashion by a non nuclear version of 'mutually assured destruction'.

He / They / Them might have trouble chasing the baddies in high heels.

Thats if the Bond franchise are going to be portraying 'baddies' anymore. It's rumoured the next film is about a really nasty super villain who has suffered from a poor upbringing, but it turns out he's just in need of some therapy and a big hug.

Any merchant I have spoken too say supply not going to be a issue. The lads that order it 10 days before they need it might struggle.

The scaremongering on here annoys me. I must learn to ignore it. Will know in a few weeks if there's any foundation to there claims.

Perhaps they are right.

Load I ordered mid December, delivered today.
Still waiting on N ordered in September for October delivery.
Beginning to think the boat carrying it must have docked somewhere else rather than Berwick:unsure:
