Has anyone had a grant offer through yet for items in the Animal Health and Welfare Farming part of the Equipment and Technology Fund?

Applications closed over 2 weeks ago. It’s all on computer and ranked so they would know instantly who they were going to be offering grants to; I’d expected a decision one way or another fairly quickly, but haven’t heard a thing yet.

Hoping to get some money towards a mobile sheep pen system- thought I’d have it bought and on-farm by now if successful .

Civil service probably working out how to make you commit to the purchase then refuse to pay you on a technicality.

There was a thread on this last week, I e-mailed as hadn't had any acknowledgement they'd even received my application (1st day window opened), amazingly I did get a reply, they have received my application and it is being processed with all the others ...... 4/6 weeks from window closing to receive a response

But it’s all in a big database/spreadsheet now. No civil servant involvement is required to rank the applications and decide which will be offered funding. There’s no reason why they couldn’t have sent out all the offers within a few seconds of the application window closing. 4 to 6 weeks???? Sheesh!

Be prepared to jump through more hoops once you’ve made your purchases etc , we bought items last year on the fetf and were astounded at some of the evidence request we had

Like what? Thought it was just invoice (to business name and address) plus a photo or two of the item ‘installed’?

I’m glad they’re doing proper checks with the amount of money they’re dishing out. Yes I’m sure you are genuine but I’m sure there’s lots of people out there who aren’t! Hardly that much effort for the money you get.

The Grant offers started to be issued on Tuesday - we have had loads of requests for quotes for FETF231A - Outdoor Group calf accommodation.

I had to send the individual serial numbers of 400 collars!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm currently looking into options for purchasing some livestock equipment. I basically would like to buy 3x of the same item of sheep handling equipment. Buying 3x would allow more flexibility and I would hit the £1000 funding target as the equipment is not expensive enough to qualify on its own. Will I be allowed to buy 3x items of identical equipment?

Well, I got an FETF grant in the last round for 196 of the same item, an item that it would be expected that many would be needed. (ad lib farrowing feeders).
Planning to apply for several of a different item this year.
