Flail topper rotor speed

Does anyone know roughly how fast a flail rotor spins?
Got a bit of a project and trying to work some gearing out

Circa 3000rpm

Flail toppers spin very fast. Like a hedge brusher head. My McConnel topper has 1000 rpm on shaft, through gearbox speed up again, and then geared up again with drive belts/ pulleys to rotor. So the rotor speed is super fast.

I don't think they are quite as fast as a 3000rpm hedgcutter rotor though. Could be wrong

According to the manual, my Turner TurboMower72 runs at 1750rpm when PTO is at the required 540 setting. I don't know if modern ones run any faster?

i will measure a few turns of the pto to flail ratio later when i go to feed some calves.

As pointed out earlier, 3000 sounds very fast. A kidd double chop rotor spins slightly lower than 1700
