The 560s are on grain trailers, maybe the 550 is plenty on a baler?
I figure they’re only 1cm wider though

550s are crossply, 560s are radials. I'd go for the radials with as open a tread pattern as you can get. It isn't much fun when the tread fills and the wheels stop turning..

That's whats on the baler just now. Wanting to upsize a fair bit to allow for "non ideal" conditions at times!!

This is what we upsized too-

They make a big difference, not only being wider, they roll a lot better being taller

Is that the 550 45 22.5 you went up to? Same as we are meaning to or are they bigger? Just measuring baler now and don't think I can get away any bigger than 550 45 22.5?? Also mchale 550

They’re Alliance 560 45 22.5 radials 885, not a lot of space but they fit on. As already had been said, radials will travel better than crossplys.
They have made a big difference to the way the baler travels.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
