sheep were dosed with flukiver the first week in November before the tups went out so will need another one in the next couple of weeks.

were in the high risk area and according to an article i saw it says that products containing triclabendazole would be the best treatment but also to avoid white drenches.

what would be best then

Trodax is very hard on sheep if fluke infection is high
If sheep are in good nick Trodax would be a good choice
Supaverm would be my choice for a combination wormer

Superverm/flukiver would be my choice also, I think fluke will be bad this year and will need kept a close eye on

SRUC

Says don’t use a combination if its not required to kill both.

Read/hear that many different things.

Fasinex is out as I know a few people around me that have had resistance. I don’t normally give a third dose, normally just November and February but the winters have been so wet

Triclabendazole is brilliant... unless you have resistance.
Best time for using it is end of summer.

Do not use combi drenches. You shouldn't worm your ewes at all.

For the OP, you seem to already know you need to follow up your Flukiver dose 8weeks later with a 2nd dose. This could be with either Flukiver or Trodax. But I've heard Trodax has had another batch problem and the product isn't available until at least February (stores are selling what they have but can't get more).

If you're high risk, they will need done a 3rd time before lambing. Again, either Flukiver or Trodax (Trodax is best at that time).

Trodax isn't hard on ewes, I use it every year late January/early February with no I'll effects.

So you use different doses every time ?

Ideally, with no known resistance, YES. As part of SCOPS you should rotate your drenches - both the ewes fluke drenches and lambs worm drenches.
