Hi,
I am thinking about putting a turbo on a 6410 but I am struggling to find much information on what turbo/intercooler to use. Also do you need to upgrade the oil pump for the turbo. If you can point me in the direction of any information on this would be much appreciated.

Use all the parts from a 7610, can probably run a newer version turbo from a 7740 though for better boost.

7610 wasn't intercooled either, don't think it's essential. Keeping the water temps down is another matter.

Thank you. Would assume though if you keep the air cooler would be easier to keep water temps down, but thanks.

You might need to upgrade the radiator and fan to keep it cool.

100% a 7740 turbo would be the best turbo to use, it'll boost the mid range torque quite abit even on standard fuelling. . You will need to be creative with the pipework to make it fit.

Oil pump will be fine. Don't bother with an intercooler, if you give it much more additional fuel, you'll struggle to keep it cool, but unlikely you'll be giving it constant full load on a hot day?

Yes, but I have a 7810 turbo, and there still isn't room to fit an inter cooler anywhere sensible.

A 7610 rad would be good here, I have one that was bought new for my 7610, never used, bought from Andrew Symons new holland dealer last year, then the 7810 came up and the 76 got part exd before I had chance to fit the new rad.

You may already have the Tropical cooling system ( thick core + 6 blade fan )
