Hi lads, I have a ford 6610 super q ripped apart at home to restore but have a few questions. First of all, how much paint will I need to do the whole lot? I am planning on using 2 pack paint. Secondly, anyone have any idea where I could source a super q cab gear lever gaiter? Also anyone have any idea where I could get an led version of the super q cab lights? Thanks.

these lights are from 247 lighting. Picked them up from a local dealers and they bolt onto the existing ford brackets.

we have L E D lights on our self propelled sprayer but when they are on they interfere with the radio they were on when I bought it and I am told it's because they are cheap ones has anyone else come across this problem

Hadn't thought about inside the cab. Usually just get dash bulbs from local motor factors and same for courtesy lights.
The cover for courtesy lights are part of the switch so not sure an led unit would fit in.

Never had a problem here cos the radio reception is bad anyway! So usually just listen to a cd.
Local contractor did mention one day that he'd got some better led's that didn't make his radio hiss.

Ya my courtesy lights are destroyed with rust and I got the fright of my life when I seen that replacements are 50plus vat😳 if there was an led option of nearly go for it

Be one of them where your not sure if its the part number or price your looking at!
Ours has had a hole in for the last twenty odd years. Makes it easier to keep the linkages oiled.
450 pounds PLUS VAT like how does it justify? Ya the one on the 5610 is the same way but I was planning on doing this one right. But at that money my mind may have changed slightly. I wonder could I improvise with anything?

Hi paint wise you will need 8-10 litres of blue depending how many coats you want obviously and 2 of grey once hardener is added at 2:1 you get 50% more
Don't mix what your not using...

Try tractor cab specialists in Ireland I think they did the rubber boot from memory or try Robinson tractor breakers they may have one

Thanks very much that’s a good job cos I ordered 15 litres of blue the other evening. Should be plenty
I’ll have a look at them surely cheaper than original anyway😬
