In the dim and distant past when i've had a go on the big TWs i always thought they were a right machine. That great long bonnet that went on forever and a high driving position was great. Yes the gearbox took a bit of stirring but once used to it it was one of the best crash boxes ever on a tractor.Designed to sort the men from the boys

In @oil barron attachment it says they have 8 reverse gears. The 8100 only have high and low reverse with a splitter in each making 4 in total.
Should have kept the Fiat 980dt or replaced it with another one. But hey ho can't always get these major purchase descisions right every time.And if your forebears hadnt purchased those, what would they have afforded instead.

Well unless I'm mistaken that's the same or very similar to the seat in my mf 1200 and that's VERY comfortableWell.......the seat doesn't look too bad.....

Well yes I think so, don't think the arm rests flip up, the right hand one has pro and hydraulic controls built in, bit like modern tractor, only mf had this over 40 years agoWhat !!
