Ford 8730 powershift transmission oil pump

Hi. So. I have been driving with low transmission oil pressure at idle for 2 years now.
Finally took the tractor apart and the pump is gone, Deep grooves and tolerances are way off.
Called my local parts deals to order a new pump and that's where the fun began.
There is a new pump available for 4k - 5k. that's no good, the whole tractor cost me less.
I don't feel like buying a used unseen pump for a lot of money. Maybe someone know a solution for this problem ?
There must be someone who can fabricate new gears for it. Housing seems fine to me, just need to refurbish it a bit.

Can you find out who the pump manufacturer is and then get one from them, so you get a new one but not in a CNH box?

CNH are doing a reman range of stuff, check if your pump is available through that system.

It is FK4008213. But that price is absolutely stupid. if it was 1 or 2k I would think about buying it so I don't have to sell that tractor, but 5.5k isn't worth it.

Maybe i can get a used one , just need to see the gears and housing before buying it. I live in Latvia, we don't have anything like that here available.

They said no. They cant rebuild/manufacture this type of pump.

Just a thought ..it's a Funk power shift transmission.. does it share components with the version fitted to the MF 8100 or 8200 series fitted with the similar transmission?
As it's a charge pump, they usually operate at a much lower pressure, could it possibly be fed from the main hydraulic pump through a pressure / flow reducing valve?

I was thinking the same thing. Add an reducer to 300psi. But is it really that easy in reality. A lot of tractors do the same. Single main pump and that's it.

Guess the charge pump is used to force lubricate the bearings gears etc.. that would need investigating.
