Hi everyone,
My name is Michael Parsons and I would like to offer you my services of removing unwanted items such as old pieces of junk metal in the ground, any general waste I may come across etc. removed in your fields completely free of charge.
Here’s how I do it - I am a respectful, fully NCMD insured (£10,000,000 liability cover) Metal Detectorist and in return for my services all I ask is permission to detect any areas of your land that you would like attended to.
This has major benefits to you as the removal of any unwanted objects from farmland will help protect your livestock from injury, as well as any farming equipment from possible damage, as you will know.
I live in a 13th century village (Christian Malford) in Chippenham, Wiltshire and I have been a metal detecting enthusiast for just over 2 years now.
I am incredibly respectful of livestock, people and the land, I leave no unsightly, un-filled holes and even go out of my way to carry out basic maintenance on things such as gates and fences which may need it as I come across them.
I am solely interested in the wonderful history which can be discovered while metal detecting, all while providing a free service to you. I take a huge amount of pride in my finds and fully respect all current NCMD metal detecting guidelines and laws as laid out by the 1996 Treasure Act. This includes a 50/50 split of any monetary value on items found which are classed as treasure.
As I previously mentioned, I am offering my services completely free of charge.
I very much hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Michael
