Front loader replacement

So, due to a little problem last week I need to replace my front loader on 6920 John Deere. I like the look of MX T412+, I have the valve and joystick still so priced up the basic version that plumbs into said valve. I have been quoted £9169. This feels very dear as the loader it replaced was a John Deere h360 and 6 years old, it cost about £1500 less and included valve and joy stick. Has stuff really jumped that much or is somebody trying to lift my leg?

What have John Deere quoted for a loader?

I wouldn’t have another of their loaders as a gift! Once bitten twice shy! The last one was £7500 fitted 5/6 years ago. Quoted £8000 for a quicke on a valtra last autumn. I really like the look of the mx but price came as a shock. Apparently the other dealer I asked a price from couldn’t get one out of mx? Not sure what’s going on. Will make further enquires tomorrow but need to get it ordered ASAP as need it for moving bales.

Iv specced a stoll (in case livery) on my maxxum that's coming. It is harder to tell you the price as the brackets and electro joystick are factory fitted it's a 4m 2.4ton setup. I'm using a stoll loader on a case I have borrowed at the moment, just a 3.6m 1.8ton but the view and useability is brilliant.
Yesterday I went to help a mate out with his jd and jd loader the tractor is fine but the loader, what a horrible numb, slow thing.
Anyhow it's worth a try to get a price on a stoll (in Deere colours of course)

I always had stoll originally. They were always the best in my opinion. Then had quickie which was ok then jd which in comparison was horrendous. I will price a stoll tomorrow. Just thought mx looked good and seeing as we are moving to France in the autumn it would be a local machine [emoji23].

I had a trima badged quickie before this and it was fine, good loader but the joystick was poor. Mx are a damn good loader from what people tell me. However my brother in law had a base model one (bars instead of rams for the parallel linkage) and didn't like it. To be honest the only reason I went for stoll is I liked the idea of it being factory fitted with the electro joystick on the armrest controlls so il see how it goes.
Germany is only next door so you should be ok.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
