Fullwood Parlour playing up

4 year old Fullwood 18 pt swing over, ACR, Milk meters,Conductivity, cluster flush, auto ID, drafting ; controlled by Crystal, is taking the p****.
Can work perfectly then randomly will take off units, ID will change.etc.

Dealer been out 2 days in a row upgrading and reloading software and it can be fine for half a milking and then randomly starts again.
Anyone had anything similar, got any clues?

TIA

Don’t know about Fullwood, but the chip on my Alpro processor has corroded with damp, even though kept in a dry environment, I lost time and date permanently. As we are upgrading to auto ID we need to get a new one, although it has done 16 years.

We had a problem for several years a I'm sorry but cant remember symptoms the problems where electrical. what fixed it, was by putting in an extra 24v transformer to even out the supply. Low voltage will cause intermittent problems.

It doesn't sound like the UCC is at fault.

Could it be as simple as one of the wisker switches on the front gates? or the sensor on the swing arms?

have you per stall ID?

I asked if it could be the whisker switch on the gate but was told not? why not?
Played up over weekend but was ok yesterday.
ID is at rear gate.
Thanks for help.

Does the whole side remove or just individual cows?

Are you swing over or double up?

Mine is per stall ID so would be different setup in ways.

do they read ok coming in, but then randomly change ID to a different cow mid way?

The parlour where I work was playing up big time, not doing id or not recording yields or acrs coming off too quick, or not at all. Engineers changed main controlller recommenced a new £2k pc said the one was too slow. Turns out it was a £40 switch on the back gate.

Has the engineer installed the program on the Crystal PC that clears log files or shown/mentioned it to you ? Maybe newer Crystal different but that's the way ours(10 year old) would behave if log files not deleted periodically, like maybe every 2-3 months.

swing over, will randomly remove 3 or 4 on a side. ID numbers seem to mess about as well.
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Mine started doing the same, it was the swing over switch was reading the opposite side half way through milking, the space between the swing over switch was off.
