Hi, I just hot a set of oxy/propane bottles and need to make a trolley for them.

I'm just looking for any ideas or pics before I start if there's anything worth including..or not including.

I was thinking big wheels so its easy moved on rough ground.

Thanks in dvance

If you're patient they always come up at farm sales and make very little. Failing that an old wheelie bin would maybe work!

Make sure it has a toolbox on it to hold the sparker, flints etc etc.
I’ve always thought about putting one sides worth of telehandler brackets on the back, very easy to move about then.

Sack barrow on pneumatic tyres

Made mine near twenty years ago. Flat bar bent to shape and welded about half the height up for the bottles that takes chain round each bottle. Job done

Ours now lives in a transport box so tractor linkage or pallet fork slots on the bottom, lives with a mosa genny for power and welding. Get some long gas pipes which make life easy.

trollies are ok on smooth concrete and we don't have much of that here!

I was thinking an old van axle to get the big wheels big maybe that's too heavy[emoji848] it would be easy to pull though.
A single beam up to the handles and then flat plate curved around?

or put three point linkage pins on it, to put on the back of the tractor, the only thing I would be worried about is how the regulators and dials would cope with the bouncing about as it was being moved

Taking that a stage further, maybe you could make the lower link pins the axles for the wheel? Would be a nice neat solution. Can always take the regs off if you like, but they’re ok if you’re slow and steady.

Some thing with loader brackets on just pick em up and go preferable with large tool box attached as well.
