I think some are seriously underestimating how little there has been on the east coast in the last year.

I get your pain, but this is probably year 5 in the east, light land, so must admit it’s getting to be the norm here.

Given we are now, 1st June 18 to today closer to fifty percent of a normal years 570mm , the crops do still look very very good. While not overly sunny, it is getting towards 20 degrees most days. Even neighbours beans on ploughed land look good which would not be the case if it had been thirty degrees......

.....I'd still like some thirty degrees for harvest though .

Raining a bit now, can’t really see the point of a fancy internet connected rain gauge, I doubt it would be accurate enough to measure the minuscule amounts we get.
