Getting a little dry

In the middle.
We've had between 45 and 50mm since Friday which was really needed but a warm drying week and a lot will vanish. Just to remind me how dry its been i had to put a bale of silage into the cows today as we have very little grazing grass at the moment and the bale was gone in an hour and a half. Two bales tomorrow before i head off to cereals to keep them happy.

Hardly anything here for three weeks since.

That's two droughts so far this year now, interrupted by a couple of weeks of waterlogging.

Same here. Nothing today even though radar shows intense rain over us.
One extreme to the other isn't doing things any good at all.
Grass is starting to go off , rape is crisping up too fast, wheat looks very stressed as does the beet. The spring barley seems to be coping best.
