Getting concerned

What do you think of the trash boards?
Looks nice land . Would that not plough and combi behind , let rain pass and let it drape and then attack it

We had 5” in 3 days 6weeks ago and up until Monday everything was hard and dry here, so a wet week is welcome, get caught up with little jobs and the crops already sown will enjoy a good drink, so no need to worry atm

Yeah, I think I will stop now and then perhaps plough/combi when we are due a few dry days. This place is called Hollowmarsh for a reason!
Got all sorts here including some thinner stuff, heavy snot and a few stones chucked on for good measure!

Doors closed for me this week, lots of folks saying sorry, but the lime won’t get done now.

I emptied my rain gauge of leaves and dead flies on Saturday evening and it’s now got 2+3/4 inches in it.

Lime tipped on four farms, Fibrophos on two, none of whom want to see me this spreading this week.

Shocking season of showers and high winds, this is the last thing I needed. No joke, it’s as bad as 2012 for me.

Think we've been unlucky this year ..... again , not strung 4 dry days together since May

Farm saved seed and unmoved stubbles - whats is there to worry about?

Planning on getting started next week

My unmoved stubbles have puddles on them now, and another dollop to go. Those that had the terrano through them will go with patience sometime before Christmas. If we can't get two or three days drilling in between now and then, then the whole of clayland Lincolnshire will be in trouble.

Have a load of Fibrophos sat in the yard here. Tipped last week when it was all nice and dry. Not sure when it will be spread now though. Some was going on some W. Barley land but if that gets drilled first it will have to go elsewhere.
