Getting Fendt 720 profi steer ready through valves

Got 2015 720 profi. Not steer ready, currently running auto steer through Trimble CFX 750 and Ez steer.

Looking to upgrade to a TRIMBLE GFX, Greenstar 2630/4240 or Topcon system. What something isobus ready .

I want to go away from the electric steering wheels to a more integrated system through valves. Apparently a Profi model has the steering angle sensor installed in the axle so it’s retrofitting the valve.

Anyone any experience of this?

I think the tractor only has the normal orbital on without the electric valves fitted

Thanks

I'm not sure about Greenstar but both Topcon and Trimble will have a full retrofit system for this but I think that would mean using their steering angle sensor (no big deal). I did think with that age of tractor you should be able to have a vario guide system from your tractor dealer which might well be the most cost effective route.

What do you want to run with the isobus? Hopefully someone on here is doing similar and can tell you the best system for that.

I thought Fendt had Isobus as a standard feature? Or is it only with the bigger screen?

The OEM option could be expensive if the tractor does not have the VarioGuide receiver roof? Not sure about this.

Cab has to.come off to fit valve body to orbitrol for starters, so this may be your biggest hurdle.

Yes Fendt are isobus ready but means I can use screen on a tractor that is not isobus ready. Think Trimble has the next swath technology which sounds good. Any idea on costs of Trimble valves for Fendt?

How does JD SF1 compare to Trimble RTX rangepoint? Know very little about Topcon systems....
