Spraying ploughing before spring cultivation,
Is adjuvant (LI 700) worth it or needed .???

No water conditioner needed for rain water.

What are you trying to kill? An acid surfactant like LI700 is for cutting through a waxy leaf cuticle. Can you even buy LI700 anymore?

I'm out of date with that then.
Just small broadleaved weeds.
Usually get ok kill with straight glyphosate, wondered if an adjuvant would give better efficacy.

At least 2 l/ha of 360 g/l glyphosate will do the job. Leave it for at least 48 hours before cultivating.

Validate is very good but adds expense you don't necessarily need. Ollie used to be a serviced agronomist :p

Couldn’t buy LI700 last time I tried. Obviously it worked too well.
FWIW I find 450 glypho ajways seem to work better than 360 even when you back the dose off to allow for the higher g/litre.
And Firebrand (ammonium sulphate solution) is my favourite glypho enhancer. Acidifies and gets it into the leaf I think.

Li700 has been done away with, I can't remember why, it always smelt pretty potent from memory.

Posher formulations of glyphosate or not, I would still use validate. It's not hugely expensive and far cheaper than a fudge up.
