But where to get good ones that don't cost a fortune?!

I had two with a flat edge, good for scooping feed, haven’t been able to find anything remotely of the same style or quality.
 
Save the handles off of the 3gallon buckets that break or make some new handles with an offcut of mdpe pipe on it.
Saw the top third off of a 25 litre chem container drill the sides and insert the handle with some vice grips.
Job sorted and last for ever
