Does anyone have a blackbox patchwork gps? If so what are they like? Dealer trying to sell me one but I don’t know anyone with one. Usually it’s the Jd gps around my way

Pretty dated nowadays and not v upgradeable to guidance

I used one for about 10 yrs got on fine with it as far as manual guidance goes it does it's job . It's still in a box in the workshop I used it last summer for mowing for some reason we must've had a breakdown or something as we're all jd autosteer now

What are they like for mowing? As in just for mounted off set… would it work ?

I got on fine I cut thousands of acres with it and spread thousandsof acre of fert . You'll get a uses 1 for a few hundred quid

What model is the dealer trying to flog you?
Had an advance which did variable rate and section control and was very good. (Patchwork still roll out occasional updates) wouldn't hesitate getting another

mate has the new patchwork black box marine ( new android based system) and rave’s about it ,got 10” display vrt and section control,
( he does contract spraying ,fertiliser and mowing)
