Snap back out soonYeah, we caught that as well, sort of knackered linseed harvesting, got going later in the day, slow work but managed to chew off 15 acres. I need 2 good days to finish now.

Last 120 little bales to bring in 6am tomorrow.
My spring barley looked great but 2 ton/acre & a useful 70 small bales per acre. So nothing special.

There can be absolutely no excuse for anyone to falsify any numbers posted on here.not me !!!
Yes , indeed but the best way to to get Clive rocking is to post about high yields and ploughing in the same mouthful !!!There can be absolutely no excuse for anyone to falsify any numbers posted on here.
That is unless it's just another obvious opportunity to wind up Clive, Brisel or Flintstone.
That's possibly where I've been going wrong.Yes , indeed but the best way to to get Clive rocking is to post about high yields and ploughing in the same mouthful !!!
And throw in a few, " even though I cut my chemical spend right back" and you can just feel the tension .Yes , indeed but the best way to to get Clive rocking is to post about high yields and ploughing in the same mouthful !!!

Posting on and on about low yields and ploughing.
That's a brilliant result.not me !!!
I know this is one snapshot of one moment in time but the meter read above 4 t on loads of places in the fields and not much with a 2 ....
I think because we are on heavy clay it retained moisture during the drought
And the secondary growth was farmed and we have waited til it’s ripe
Especially when you realise it’s spring barley...,That's a brilliant result.
Our early drilled stuff has done really well. The February stuff abysmal. Luckily there wasn't to much of it.
OopsEspecially when you realise it’s spring barley...,
is your yield metre working properly? how are you managing to get 4.6t/acre from spring barley? is it after grass?Last 45ac of Spring barley finished today, got it in a corner now just spring rape and beans to go.View attachment 908806

That’s only spot rate, only did 3.5t average. This year it’s been luck of the draw I think although I do ave ground that will consistently do 3-3.5t of spring barley and 4t of winter barley. Biggest problem is keeping it standing and travelling if it comes wet! Moisture isn’t a problem even in a dry year it’s only a problem in a wet year!is your yield metre working properly? how are you managing to get 4.6t/acre from spring barley? is it after grass?
Been there, done that! Sooner have a few months off after we’ve finished drilling than start mauling spuds outWith land like that he should be growing spuds @Bossfarmer .......
