Looking for some thrashed ryegrass to use as a fibre source in a dairy cow diet. Had some years ago but dont seem to see it around any more, anyone know of any ?

Round haylage bales. Very good 1st cut round triple wrappped haylage bales for sale, 227 available. Based in Derby, £25 each.
Also clamp silage available
 
We have around 40 x 5ft Round bales of 2016 Hay we are looking to clear. 1st Year Seed Grass.

Quality is OK, but they were wrapped and stored outside due to us needing space for a new building. 6 Layers of wrap, but some damaged.

Wanted big bale wheat or oat straw. Must be clean and bright, suitable for equine job. Possibility of swap for dry weathered ww or barley in 4x3's. Cambs.

Been offered good money for straw today. Straw merchant who has a few loads off us each year told us today that he will pay £60 for our dry but not bright straw and £80 for nice bright straw. Never sold it for that price before! What's it going to be worth in 6 months time!! Not great for livestock farmers.

I think your merchant is getting carried away, he may offer to buy it at that price but he might not sell it! he is £30t over the current market value off farm.

Once straw gets to £100t delivered on farm livestock farmers wont buy it, that was proved last year down here in the SW.
