Hay supplier required, close to Dorset (Would consider further a field)

Hi there,

I am looking for a Timothy & Meadow Hay supplier, as well as Rye, Orchard, Oat; if possible. We're a small pet business (e.g. rabbits) etc looking for 10k / 20kg to start off with, ideally someone close to Dorset is preferred but would consider further a field.

Also, we have a demand for mini bales of the same Hays, so if any Farms can produce approx 1 kg bales (36cm x 19cm x 19cm), then we also need a supplier for these, as well.

Any recommendation appreciated.

Thank you.

How much are you paying for a 1kg bale of hay? Surely it just needs bagging up at that size? And how many a month/year do you need?
And what’s a baled ‘orchard’ please?

The mini bales is a new product for small pets e.g. rabbits, Guinea Pigs etc. These are currently being sold by others & it is a product we want to deliver.
At present we sell pre-bagged Hay e.g. Science Selective, but we are looking at getting Fresh Hay from a farm, so looking to get prices. In regards to quantities, this depends on customer demand, but we're anticipating that this will be high based on current needs, but again it's difficult to give exact figures at the moment.
The orchard would just be bagged not baled. It is just timothy & meadow that we are looking to get baled.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
