HEAR OSR

The premium for HEAR Rape looks attractive, does anyone have experience of growing it ? Is there a yield penalty over normal Rape.

Grown it the last 2 years, not harvested it this year yet but looks awful.last year was crap as well but it wasn't any worse than the conventional that we grew. Lot heftier knock offs tho but think that's a premium crops thing.
For us conventionals gross margin was more due to expensive seed and large deductions.

Used to grow it because rt not needed, yield penalty, higher seed costs.

Once your are in it its difficult to get out of the volunteers can be difficult to control

We grew it for a few years. There is a premium but the seed is expensive and tiny it's not easy to check drilling as you can't find it in the soil with the recommended seed rate.we used to up the rate and mix in a bit of farm saved
