Hedge cutting derogation

How does one apply for this these days. Got some herbel leys going in. I presume sam3 is classed as temporary grass to allow a derogation?
Might even get some drilled before august but certainly want to make the most of any dry spell in August.
Grounds on permanent electric so even if it's a swipe round if the tops don't get done not the end of the world.

Sent mine in 4 weeks ago. Still not heard anything so Im just going to get on and do it.
RPA have just tweeted that you need to notify them before you cut/trim in August for OSR/grass drilling but don't have to wait for permission to start work, just an acknowledgement eg the standard RPA email acknowledgement. Don't think you can trim it (for this reason) in July!

Watched some of px farms on YouTube and he said they had people in hedge cutting whenever that was filmed while they were cutting barley so very recent.
How is this? Even if drilling osr it's not august yet? I've gone and drilled the grass but having to wait till the 1st to cut the hedges.

I applied for one last year as wanted to fence and do some reseeding. I emailed asking for a ‘GAEC 7’ (I think?!).

I emailed one evening at about 6pm and to my surprise the following morning had a confirmation reply giving me the go ahead.

It’s was exactly a year ago- just checked my emails!

its the people who don't use good judgement on a subject / blatantly break the rules even, who spoil it for everyone else.

Be interested to know how come they are tree shearing about 1/4 mile of willow along a watercourse, visible from the new bit of dual carriageway around Worcester?
