To be fair 6.48 bf is about as high as we've had, and it was NML tested...........
Usually we're just over 5%, but yes the silage would be high fibre, the dairy pencils are 18% protein. We don't have a lot of choice with that as they are the only dairy nut our feed mill supply in small bags (we aren't yet set up to take 3t at a time, and wouldn't use it quick enough if we were).
Great stuff, I bought a second hand bin at the weekend, its a 3.5ton bin. I wont get an auger until a gather a few pond, but its better that digging out of tote bags.
