Government is adamant no children linked disease but be on the lookout for leukemia and MND. The converted barn that had the MND death went on the market at 950k and finally after 5 years of price reductions sold for 500k but with all windows and doors to be replaced which reduced the price by a further 50k.
I’d take no notice of much the government tells us.not generally known that chemicals have been sprayed into the atmosphere over various cities in the past and maybe still happens, and then illnesses and deaths are monitored.the cancer my dad died from was prevalent in Norwich ,cambs and Bristol.told the above by medical people.

The post office is owned by the government, so vicariously the government were saying that there was no problem with horizon, Ed Davey minister with oversight over the PO took their side in the matter.

Yep I don’t doubt it, like I said I’m far from a conspiracy theorist, I drink milk straight from the tank and more often than not don’t wear the full PPE when filling the sprayer but I’m yet to get TB or find any Ill effects from chemicals.

Just strange how that family is riddled with cancer yet other direct family members haven’t got it, several getting letters from the queen for reaching a century.
Friends and I had a conversation with a German cardiologist a couple of years ago. He was of the opinion that most health issues are 80% genetics and 20% environment/lifestyle.

Yep i recon your preprogrammed for what's coming down the tracks from the start on the whole ....
I think lifestyle either turns on or off the genes that you inherit (and for that matter, your parents lifestyle turns things on and off too). Having a genetic make up that makes you more likely to get xxx doesn't mean you will, if your lifestyle doesn't "switch on" that propensity.

The opinion that it is all pre programmed would mean that there is no need to eat healthily or exercise!

I’ve got proposed pylons going right over my farm sheds. I’m in the sheds all day every day so health is a concern. Generally most are against it but I doubt it’ll make any difference. Also with no pylon signs all over the local property sales have been affected.

Yes get what your saying but if your going to be an alcoholic smack head all your life your going to get what's coming wether you have "bad genes "or "optimum" genes and wouldn't say that's fair play in evaluating the argument in hand 🤔

Governments only tell us what those that brief them want them to know...

I have just seen a consultation for a green energy project, that puts a pylon line right next to my bungalow. How close it too close? Does it alter the valuation of the property? Is it injurious to health? Can one alter the route? Will it alter the value of the land as well or just the bungalow? Will it alter rental value?

Absolutely tamping here.
Irrespective of possible health issues, the perception will be there for potential future buyers and then there are the aesthetics of a pylon near by. It must have a effect on valuation.

It would affect the value of the house. Some people wouldn't bother, but it would put off a lot more.

There is a house not far from me that has been on the market for nearly 1 year with a pylon in the garden. Those houses usually sell straight away. It looks as though it has been sold now, but I wonder if they had to bring down the price a lot.

We ve got a proposed line through us aswell and I’m shitting it! The buzzing in damp weather can be horrendous. We ve all heard about the Beauly buzz!

But SSEN and the Scottish gov don’t care. It’s all about the scam that is net zero.

How did the power from Dounray get transmitted?
Genuine question.

I see it like a car, if it’s serviced regular and looked after it will last a lot longer than if is abused and not serviced. The basic car always remains the same with the same inherent issues.
Not modern cars, they find electrical faults for fun arghhhh
