How do I obtain an up to date satellite image of my farm?

You're lucky, wore a track along the side of some permanent pasture at the end of last year. Photographed and deducted from my claim this year thanks to the eye in the sky!

Depending on what you want it for could you not use a drone to take your own pictures?

The images that we see on the rpa site are not what they use for the actual maps.
We have had 2 rounds of remote sensing since bps started but you cannot see what they saw as the maps they show are the older ones

are you using the google earth program or just google maps? have you checked the timeline button in google earth? the default images it loads is 2018 for me, but clicking that button reveals one from march 2020 for my farm. these are aerial photos though, so it seems to be pot luck if they fly your area.

actual daily satelight photos are available here, but are of no use due to their scale, unless you like looking at cloud patterns.

There is a 2019 image for us on google earth but the resolution is so poor it’s unusable

I have no knowledge of what's going on in the background but the picture on the rpa site to justify the amendment of my field is from last summer
