lets hope inputs have been securedFortunately, 4course, my bankers have already accepted that, due to the current drought, we're in for record crops next year.
And Jan '20 wheat's already above £160.

Allow three weeksAnd what do you generally assume for OSR from desiccation until harvest (assuming current weather continues)? I always forget these facts from one year to the next!
some of my rape will be ready as quicker than roundup works
changing very quickerly may just spray the later headlands
What's your guess, ready or not?

Looks good but you really ought to do the 20 pod check as explained in the last Niab weekly notes. No good paying for advice and then ignoring it
Snap, after going too early one year and suffering the indignity of some red seed, I go late and it's been fine, I reckon I may get into some 10 days time, still very green here.I always think it better to go later with glyphosate than earlier if the pod tests are inconclusive for the reason you mentioned above. I’m also thinking of doing headlands only if this weather keeps on.
Does anyone use diquat? Just thinking but it gives you the option to leave it to ripen naturally and if things don't go to plan you could go through a couple of days before the combine to even it up.
