Replacing any of the broken little twisty springs on the tine holders ....is a good way of making it run sweeter and preventing tine bending..yes, just trying to remember what caused it

Prince Pooper is mowing a field of meadow hay as we speak, but it had a good dose of muck and some ferts and is more like seeds. It laid in the torrential rain we had a couple of weeks ago and it is wet as anything in the bottom. Although we have a strong drying breeze today and tomorrow, the ground is still soaking (there are puddles on the yard still from 4 days ago). It will get shifted to get some breeze through that bottom side but then left as the ground needs to dry out as much as the hay does. Wind is set to drop after tomorrow and we are in for dull but dry after then so I reckon we're next Friday before it will be fit to bale. It's ridge and furrow so we have to turn it as little as we dare because otherwise it costs a fortune in broken tines and other kit!you must be only cutting half a crop you try making seeds with 16-17 round bales to the acre its taking 6-7 days and turned lots of times
