That's what I thought but crane firm said they wanted their machine next to genny site and wagon right up to it.Thinking a wee bit latterly here, could you put the crane down the track with enough reach to lift of the artic on the road, swing the container round 170 degrees and lower to ground, resite crane and repeat till on site?
Given that they are W. Cumbrian I thought a bit of graft might not hurt but lifting , setting down then shifting , restrapping and moving again isn't what they do.
I'm going to be honest and say that I am starting to tire of folk saying I'm not doing this and I'm not doing that and by the way its £1300 a day.
