10 ton trailer with 2 ton of grain in it stolen 27th Feb at around 12.40. Red sided trailer with silver super singles and a black undercarriage. Believed stolen with a flat bed transit and seen on the A4304 at around 12.45.

The finance company then joined in the party.

I once had an 8 tonner delivered by a swb Daihatsu Fourtrack..

Perfectly possible - trailer will weigh circa 4-5 tonnes, plus 2 tonnes of wheat, so no more than 7 tonnes. I used to tow a claas combine header trailer with a hilux, weighed 7.5 tonnes (not on a pubic highway). Add in the couldn’t give a sh1t factor possessed by most criminals and you’ve got plenty of room to put a few more tonnes of wheat in the trailer.

It’s true I’ve only heard via group neighbourhood watch text but from the owner of the trailer. Post 2,3,4 make no sense to me either. Can ring him and find out exactly what happened if you want

JC Maloney posted an alert about a stolen trailer,
Within minutes Moorgate finance were offering to help fund the purchase of a replacement. It was felt that they were a bit quick out of the stalls with their opportunistic advertising.
I have now deleted my sarcastic response, as Moorgate have since withdrawn, and it did indeed make no sense.

Looks more like a Renault to me, or perhaps a Sevel (Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen)?
