Last 3 times ive dropped grass they said a good week, then it rains for days. Cut aload more Monday and its rained everyday since. as said how can you plan when they csnt get it right, even when looking out the winda theyed still get it wrong 🙄
I just look on here for your posts of you cutting and leave mower parked up

Central scotland never misses the rain, if you looked the forecasts over the last 5 years, every may is bone dry and maybe in to mid June buy then it gets worse and worse, at exactly the time you want it to be good. Expect 2018, and 2006, the year l got married.

I find it amazing that Norway gets our weather more accurately than anyone else!

They use ECMWF data, so their forecasts will be similar to any site that uses that weather model.

Doesn’t help having all the “positive “ spin on the forecasts these days. They say dry for next 3-4 days but forget to mention the rain overnight each day.
Although when they didn’t want everyone visiting the Sw a few weeks back the forecast had a negative spin to it. Strange that !!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
