Resurrect it by getting a guest speaker, Clive seems quite keenBBQ and games night is good ice breaker although the float or sink quiz sounds a good way of getting people involved and ice breaking. Good to see Young Farmers clubs getting back to meeting again. Unfortunately my former club has folded during the pandemic.
Hi my wife is restarting our local young farmers, and was just looking for ideas for games quizzes and things to get the ball rolling, has to be able to include 12 to 26 years old
I know YFC is officially for 12-26 year olds but a lot of clubs don’t actively encourage the younger end, to us oldies 14 years age difference ain’t a lot but that age range covers relatively naive school kids through the early and dare I say heavy drinking years and ending up for most at least being more mature individuals .Hi my wife is restarting our local young farmers, and was just looking for ideas for games quizzes and things to get the ball rolling, has to be able to include 12 to 26 years old

As I said, there’s a heck of a difference between 12 year olds and 18 year oldsI'm guessing sticking a length of toilet paper between your arse cheeks, lighting it and downing a pint whilst all your mates sing "he's a pisspot..." would be out of the question?
Good on herHi my wife is restarting our local young farmers, and was just looking for ideas for games quizzes and things to get the ball rolling, has to be able to include 12 to 26 years old
To make it fair you could always just give the 12 year olds half a pint!!!As I said, there’s a heck of a difference between 12 year olds and 18 year olds
Oh I don't know 10 year olds know way more nowadays than I did when I was 10.I know YFC is officially for 12-26 year olds but a lot of clubs don’t actively encourage the younger end, to us oldies 14 years age difference ain’t a lot but that age range covers relatively naive school kids through the early and dare I say heavy drinking years and ending up for most at least being more mature individuals .
It’s a big ask in my opinion to expect the older members to look after those at the younger end of the spectrum although things have changed since my day, things like parental consent forms were never heard of back then.
I know several girls who have recently joined the local club at 16 having finished school, the opinion of their mothers being that their attentions needed to be on their school work up until then.
To be fair she set it up just before covid happened and had 5 meets and they got 70 people and it was going all guns blazing, 2 things then happenedGood on her
I know you're not in Lincolnshire but I guess Rutland doesn't have it's own County Organiser?
Might be worth having a word with the county office at Riseholme to see if they could give your wife some support.....
