Currently got a fair selection of M18 batteries currently have hi torque 1/2inch but want something smaller and handier for little jobs. Have a FID hex for screws and teks and a set of adapters for sockets but keep breaking them off so wanting something that size and simlar power but with 1/2inch anvil for lighter fitting work.

Quite fancy the m12 angled die grinder, with coupon comes in at about £85+vat, can’t be bad

I have one, is very handy, not used my 90 deg air one at all since i got it. Its not quite as powerful but it is more controlled and great with 2" roloc discs and carbide burs, use mine mostly on the 2amp battery but i do use the 6amp for anything prolonged or heavy

what do people think is the best 115mm or 125mm angle grinder?

Depends which one! the older version is the same grinder just a different guard!

BUT there is a newer version that is 125mm and is a higher powered model, slightly longer overall and to get the best out of it you will want the new 5.5amp batteries or the 8amp/12amp ones which have better cells than the 4/5 and 9amp batteries.

These are the current range of grinders milwaukee making, see link. The older one i have and alot of others have is part number M18CAG115XPDB-0 There is lots still availble to buy BUT they are all old stock as its obsolete now. Still a decent grinder though and i bought the 125mm gaurd for mine although 125mm x 1mm slitting discs will JUST fit in the 115mm gaurd anyway.

The M18 125mm grinder, the lastest version that I can make out, available on eBay for a little over 200quid, through Powertool mate with a discount code. Is there any better deals out there?

you will pay slightly more for it from ebay but only a couple of quid. UNLESS you cant claim the vat back? in which case ebay price is good deal. If you buy off ebay you will get a vat receipt for the full ebay price before the discount voucher so if you try to claim the vat back on the invoice your accounts wont match up to what you paid. its ideal for people that cant claim vat back but if you do claim it back you always need to check the website price.

I print out the ebay order details showing the discount as part payment for the full vat invoice. It's bit of extra hassle, so only buy through eBay offer if it's good bit cheaper

yes, you can make it balance but if your vat registered don't assume everything powertoolmate list on eBay works out cheaper than there website cause some stuff does and some doesn't.

I know it's eBay trying to attract customers, ( supplier invoice shows full price, so doesn't look like they have anything Todo with eBay offers) have noticed the prices jump up just before an offer starts. Take powertoolmate as an example, no offer eBay prices not far above their own website.
But there is sometimes a bargain, maybe an item gets missed when inflating prices ready for offers
