I’m thinking you wouldn’t need to replace the 6.50’s, look like they’d last a lot longer. Our twin axle has the solid wheels with the 175's but was bought second hand,so no idea what it came with new. Massive difference in the price of replacements
They're 10 ply compared to 8 so possibly. On ifor Williams site it looks like you can have either on all the modelsI’m thinking you wouldn’t need to replace the 6.50’s, look like they’d last a lot longer.
I think the 12/14’ twin axles have the 6.50’s, they need the 1000kg rating to cover the 3.5t gross trailer weight at just 4 tyres, I can’t see a tri axle with them tho? They're 10 ply compared to 8 so possibly. On ifor Williams site it looks like you can have either on all the models
Probably right. Ours are perishing on the walls now so need replacing. Will investigate a bitI think the 12/14’ twin axles have the 6.50’s, they need the 1000kg rating to cover the 3.5t gross trailer weight at just 4 tyres, I can’t see a tri axle with them tho?
I've seen a 14ft Graham Edwards Tri with 650's on. It was the 6'3" wide one would have been built with axle spacings to take the wheelsI think the 12/14’ twin axles have the 6.50’s, they need the 1000kg rating to cover the 3.5t gross trailer weight at just 4 tyres, I can’t see a tri axle with them tho?
Do Graham Edwards trailers sit in lead springs or the crappy indespension units?I've seen a 14ft Graham Edwards Tri with 650's on. It was the 6'3" wide one would have been built with axle spacings to take the wheels
I've got two on 6.50 and one on 175 all 12 ft twin axle.I think the 12/14’ twin axles have the 6.50’s, they need the 1000kg rating to cover the 3.5t gross trailer weight at just 4 tyres, I can’t see a tri axle with them tho?
Any preference?I've got two on 6.50 and one on 175 all 12 ft twin axle.

Yeah the 6.50 are better but I had a price I couldn'tAny preference?
Wonder how a 14’ ta510 with twin axle on 6.50’s would fare against a tri axle on 175’s?Yeah the 6.50 are better but I had a price I couldn't
turn down on a unused 12ft with 175s.
I'm going to swap the trailer wheels to 6.50s when
I see an opportunity. They do sit a bit higher but also look happier under full load.
Flat and DP Ifor tri axles used to use lighter axles and smaller brakes as opposed to twins. No idea if it’s still the sameWonder how a 14’ ta510 with twin axle on 6.50’s would fare against a tri axle on 175’s?
You’d only have an overall tyre capacity of 4t, and obviously reduced brakes on the twin axle, but I have seen them.
I looked for one sh myself before buying my last trailer butWonder how a 14’ ta510 with twin axle on 6.50’s would fare against a tri axle on 175’s?
