Inventive ways to load a lorry

Need to get a telehandler onto a flat trailer that doesn’t have loading ramps. I was meant to arrange something but forgot as we were busy having a baby. They’re arriving tomorrow. Suggestions welcome.

do you know anyone with a lowloader ? put it on that then reverse the flat up to it and use the ramps

We used to load 3.5 ton vans into 7.5 ton Merc 814s by driving them up scrap truck tyres and timber..We cut the roof on the 7.5 ton length ways so height of the van wasn't an issue it'd just lift , then strap it all up.

We had Stuntman from Ghana to load it then take it down to Tilbury.

reverse to the trailer with a weight on the boom, pop the back wheels up in the air and back on to trailer. unload weight then jack the front up with the boom and push yourself on to the trailer.

Play safe. Ring the nearest ag dealer or haulier with a proper off loading ramp and give them £20 to use it

most ag dealers do have a concrete ramp for loading

proberly be quicker to drive it to your nearest dealer than arse on making a wonky ramp

Nearest dealer is best way, otherwise have you got a heap of soil in the yard that can be made the right shape?

Lift the trailer drawbar up high with another handler or loader.

Wales... so you must have some hills... cut a vertical face into a hillside with your bucket back trailer into this cutting face and then you can drive straight on....

Assuming you can find somewhere dry enough that is!

There was a "character" hereabouts who drove machine into a raised garden in the village early one morning before the residents were up; backed wagon up to their garden wall and drove machine on; sorted .

A few times I have buried an old handler bucket in some road plantings, backed lorry up to it then drove handler up and over plannings in to curton sider.
