Inverter welder

Looking for recommendations on a inverter welder have a big 3 phase arch welder in workshop (need telehandler bucket to move it) but want something to do smaller jobs around farm thanks JB

I have a Kempii 150 about 10yrs old, and it's been good. Never looked after it especially well but it keeps going fine.

Ive got one ,,cracking little thing ,stuck a 16a blue plug on it ,4mm rods no problem

Put a 32 amp plug on ours, better than the bigger Oxford in the workshop, it really is unbelievable how good it is.

I have a 160 with no complaints but tried a 204 one day and it was smoother somehow

I wouldnt hesistate to get one of these

they can claim what they like but I have 2 of their battery chargers here that don't work and wernt very long working from new,

They are French, but Fabrique en Chine.
As I discovered to my disappointment, when my inverter Mig/Mag set arrived.
It's a very good welder though.

Have mentioned this before got a Rohr stick box that nearly fits through the letterbox and pumps out 220a allegedly. Smooth ac welding, very portable and plenty change from £100.
If they are still around and it's a stick welder the OP's after then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, only thing wrong is the leads are those hard plastic sheathed rubbish but they do the job.
Also plenty change to replace if it does emmit the magic smoke.

As a general rule, a bigger output machine will have a higher duty cycle at what would be flat out on a smaller one. A 135 turned up would be cutting out earlier than a 200 just cruising at 135 amps

Know nothing about them but there's a Stealth 200amp with a five year warranty. 100% duty cycle at 135amps so you can weld nonstop with 3.2 rods.

Jasic 160 here - been 100% on all materials, in all sorts of conditions.
They all contain Chinese components.
Someone locally runs 2x £38 Lidl Parkside's on a factory maint contract - both been faultless after 3x years

The original owner,a Mr Parker had a reputation of turning up at property auctions,slightly inebriated and buying property and having to be phoned up by the auctioneer next morning to remind him I believe

I got a esab 180i last welder. Its a serious welder made by a reputable manufacturer.
Its has hot start among other functions.
