like many others we have wet straw laying out waiting to dry, happened to go up to Louth last week and there are thousands of acres of straw in the swath wet through. Presume this has already been sold at sky high prices, but are these buyers now going to back out as a) it’s going to need turning b) it’s now gone black c) it’s worth a lot less than it was at the start of harvest d) farmers are going to start wanting it shifting ASAP
