We sold 2 new similar age JD 6220SE tractors to a utility company in Manchester. I had to take them both, one at a time to a place in Widnes to have winches fitted. They were used for winching water mains replacement pipe in & around Manchester.

That is a good point as if it’s been council owned it’s likley to be main dealer serviced with no regard to the cost.

last time I was at Buckhurst they had a yard full of them,all deere's.

That's because they have to sit in the van at break time, can't nip back into the farmhouse every hour or so for another coffee.
