Yet another example of an unelected unaccountable collection of parasites earning a living by creating a protection racket. Who are The Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use? The quality of training provided by Killgerm where they were lecturing experienced practitioners all of whom could have delivered the days lectures was poor. They have managed to create their own licence to trade system having learnt from Red Tractor that they can get away with it.
Anyone know a no win no fee lawyer who would challenge this restraint of trade scam?
All based on residual levels of anticoagulant allegedly found in Barn Owls. Have they actually fed Barn Owls anticoagulants to establish the necessary lethal dose? I doubt it and they argue that HSE are behind this but I doubt the HSE remit extends this far.

This is an odd one.

My RECCR certificate from Lantra was issued in Oct 2015 and has an expiry date on it Oct 2020.

Another lad I know did his in Dec 2018 and there is no expiry date, just some small print about refresher training being recommended within 5 years.

None of my PA certificates has an expiry date.

And yet you can happily buy rat poison on Amazon, no qualifications needed. Same stuff as you'd buy in Mole Valley or suchlike.
I was in our local farm supplier yesterday and the chap in front of me bought a couple of bait stations and a load of bait. He wasn't a farmer and they didn't ask him for any certificate or anything, didn't want a receipt either.
Yet another load of red tape that should be done away with. License to fart next maybe?

as said above its all these non jobs like red tractor , they just make it up as they go along , so what next spend another £150 and then another 5 years find something else ? this could be easy to top up old qualifications , but i bet you got to do the lot all over again ,
this B/S is running rife through all sectors of industry ,bits of paper to allow you to trade adding to un-competitiveness and extra cost
