Most hard worked pickups are on the cusp of scrapping by the time they are ten years of age. There is a substantial whittling of the park by the time they are twelve. Fifteen is pushing the boundaries, although babied ones that have their chassis well maintained may occasionally see twenty. That would be a very very small minority though.

You are right, mechanically mine has been fine, but rust is wining, big holes in the back, chassis needed welding and fuel tank replaced due to rust
