Only the outside swath on one headland , if I burn the straw and stubble will that give it a headache
If it’s your first experience with it then I would suggest pulling buy hand if it’s practical or spray it off now.
In the past in bad patches I’ve topped the area first before the seeds were viable and then spray the regrowth off. Lightly work the area and keep spraying it off. You will find that you will still have it come next year as there will be seeds still dormant. As long as you stop any new viable seeds being made then you’ll be doing the best you can in my opinion.

Theres a guy who goes around cutting heads off with some sort of mower/conveyor/hopper?.Zurn?. not sure how many wheat heads get chopped also
